Kristine Mifsud is from Tkaranto, Canada and currently based in Riga, Latvia
Kristine’s sculptural practice explores a connection to land through found objects and self-made materials. Working from what can be sourced from the surrounds. Kristine received her BA Visual Studies from University of Guelph, continuing studies at OCADU (2012) in Canada. She has received several grants including a Canada Council research grant to explore meteoritic histories relating to local geographies, and an Ontario Arts Chalmers grant to develop skills in ceramics.
